What forms of payment are accepted?
PayPal is the easiest form of payment. However, personal checks are also accepted (cash payments are an option but not preferred).
When am I expected to pay for services I order?
After their free consultation and commitment to a service, clients are asked to pay 25% of the total project cost up-front before work on the project begins. The remaining 75% is flexible, as you may choose to pay it over time as the project is being developed, or all at once at the end.

What do I need before my website can be created?
You need absolutely nothing. I will take you through the entire process, from purchasing your own domain name, to designing and creating the site that you want, to increasing your search engine rank.
What if I already have a domain name?
Great. You will be able to use your existing domain name for your website.
Can a website that I already have be renovated?
Absolutely. You chose what you want to stay and what you want to remove, and I will reconstruct your website to your specifications.
How long does it take to complete a website?
The amount of time depends on the intricacy of the website. Simple, multi-page sites may take as little as a week or two, while larger, e-commerce projects may take up to three or four weeks.
How much does a new website cost?
Because I customize prices based on the needs of the client, there is no definite price per project. However, once I have completed a consultation with a prospective client, a quote will be determined.

This is true, but certain types of websites need more than simple declarative content. For example, a company website would only require brief information about the business, what services they offer, etc., whereas a retail website would need product reviews to give the potential customers additional information about the products. Product reviews, blog entries, and other types of content-specific information are included in this service.
What types of content does the service offer?
For most websites, the most beneficial content type to add is articles. Articles do two things: make the content of a website dynamic and current, and give the website's visitors information directly related to the website's topic. For retail websites, product reviews are often an excellent form of content, as they give the visitors opinions on the products that they are looking to purchase.
How much content will I get?
The amount of content varies for each client. During your free consultation, we will collaborate and determine how much and what type of content you will need.
How much does content writing cost?
The cost depends on a variety of factors, including the type, length, and quantity of content. Those details will be covered in your free consultation.
Do I get content gradually or all at once?
Your content will be posted on your website gradually. The reason for this is because content writing and search engine optimization go hand-in-hand. The newer your content is, the higher value it has to search engines, thus getting you a higher rank in the search engine results. Having evenly spread content updates keeps your website fresh and dynamic.

Is SEO included with websites if I don't order this service?
Partially. I include basic SEO techniques (code-based) with the websites we develop. However, only part of SEO involves the code itself. In order to get the full benefits, the non-code-based techniques must be implemented as well, which only come with the separate SEO service.
I've seen other companies guarantee first page results on Google. Does VWD?
This is perhaps the most misunderstood aspect of SEO. No company, regardless of their size or ability, can guarantee a certain rank in search engine results. Those who claim that they can are simply trying to draw in clients. In truth, search engine optimization takes time, and results greatly vary based on the topic of the website and a variety of other factors.
How long will it take to see my website rising in rank?
Search engine optimization is a slow and arduous process that involves exchanging links with reputable websites, submitting your website to online directories, implementing helpful code, and much more. Once those techniques have been exercised, it takes even more time for search engines simply to recognize that your website exists. The key to SEO is patience; you will, however, see profound results eventually.

How much does a business card design cost?
A new business card design costs $25. However, a discount is given to those who purchase a design along with a new website.
How long does a new design take?
Generally, a new design is completed and delivered within two or three days.
What sizes are available?
I offer business cards of every size. By default, I create cards with U.S. standard dimensions (3.5" x 2"), unless otherwise directed by the client.
